游戏中玩家开着一辆吉普车与敌人作战，可以进行解救人质。游戏过程中，玩家开战车驶入敌方，与敌方作战，遇见牢房，则解救人质，在指定直升机场将人质送到接应直升机。每一关的末尾都要经过一场激烈的战斗才能进入下一关。有多个场景与不同的武器，解救人质或者获取积分宝物时，火力会增强，游戏紧张好玩。赤色要塞是风靡20世纪90年代的一个经典游戏。

游戏中，玩家控制一辆军用吉普车与敌人战斗，解救己方人质，己方有直升机在机场把人质接走（注：不幸被炸死时，人质会减少，并会出来，你死的越多人质越少，直到消失）。刚开始时，吉普车的主战武器比较落后（速度慢的手榴弹，但能越过障碍），可在游戏中遇到有一个小兵在门口把守的房子，炸开后，救出房子内的工程兵（炫彩色，有别于一般人质的绿色），就会获得火箭炮，并且火箭炮最终会形成四面开花之势。在机场送人质上飞机时，有时也能获得升级主战武器（听声音）。一共六关，最后一关在攻陷敌人的堡垒后，会出现一辆超级大坦克，击败它游戏就通关。

隐藏物品：
在赤色要塞中，在墙壁上，有的用炸弹可以炸出奖励物品，图案为方形，图案中有五角星（红色为消灭区域内敌人，炫彩色为主战武器威力最强，绿色为增加生命）

主人公为成龙.内容是邪恶的大妖术师,无常童子绑架的成龙的恋人明铃,成龙为了救出恋人而斩妖除魔的故事.

游戏画面清新,带有浓厚的中国风味,人物刻画形象生动,人设Q化非常讨人喜爱.表情丰富夸张,动作功夫一招一式也有板有眼,体现出了中国功夫的神彩.比较有创意的就是奖励关了,为游戏添光加彩,难度不是很大,但要想看到礼花也不是很容易的.

飞滚:向所朝方向翻滚冲击,拥有最长的无敌时间.最大值7个.
p.s. 像空中飞脚或必杀横踢快速左右转向也可以做出两面的攻击.

A word from developer - How to use Wifi Network play.

NesterJ, ported to the PSP by Japanese developer Ruka, is an all-purpose 8-bit NES emulator. Additional features include savestates, ad-hoc network play under the 1.5 kernel, and Game Genie support.

1.Setting of PSP network is changed to the "Adhoc mode".

2.Run NesterJ and Select ROM.

3.Select "Wifi Network Play(Adhoc)" in the menu.

When beginning with two player.

->Push O Button and waits for the accept.

When beginning with one player.

->When the incoming connection puts it on, it accepts.

4.Enjoy:-)

An NES version of Super Contra was released in Japan and North America (as Super C) in 1990 , in the PAL region in 1992. It is revealed in the museum section of Contra 4 that the title was shortened to avoid any accidental reference to the Iran-Contra scandal. The PAL version (Probotector II) has the main characters and the humanoid enemies replaced with robotic counterparts, much like the original Probotector.

The gameplay and graphics of Super C are similar to the first NES game, but replaces the pseudo-3D stages with overhead stages much like its arcade counterpart. There are three stages unique to the NES version: a high-tech base, a mountain and an alien nest, all vertical-scrolling stages. The order of the later stages and bosses are also slightly different, with a new final boss added to this version as well (the "Fearsome Beast Kimkoh"). The NES version uses the same power-ups as the first NES game, but changes the function of the "fire gun" power-up from a gun that fires small fireballs that travels corkscrew pattern to a large projectile that spreads fire after hitting its target. The player can charge this gun by holding down the B button and then releasing it, shooting an even larger projectile that passes through most fodder enemies and causes an even bigger explosion when it hits a large target. The Rapid Bullets, Barrier and Special power-ups from the first NES game are also included in this game.

The US seemed to have it lucky with game censors back in the 80’s. Not only were they allowed to see the full shock horror of mutant hero turtles being referred to as Ninja’s, a publisher could push for typical action movie heroes in its games. Thankfully, Konami saw sense to try and push the super soldiers out of the door and offer acrobatic robots in their place.

Pretty much at the height of the run ‘n’ gun genre, a worthy port of the original Contra arcade machine, Probotector hits all the right notes. Tough to play yet beatable with just enough skill, offering plenty of power-ups and high score replay value to challenge even the most hardy of gamers.

Controlling with pinpoint precision, you never feel anyone but yourself is to blame if your character catches a bullet. What makes the game special isn’t just its game play but the music, graphics and difficulty levels. Every pore oozes quality which so few similar games seemed to achieve.

Although Probotector did receive a sequel, the first game deserves mention for setting the bar so high. If you can finish the whole game without the Konami code for extra lives then you should feel proud of achieving something so few gamers ever could.

You can get the program to auto pick the pictures.
To do so, rename ex icon0.png to yyyyxxxxx.png and place in \pics\icon0\ (yyyyxxxxx=Game id)

PSX2PSP is a complete converter tool for transfer your PSX games to your PSP with 3.03 OE-A, 3.03 OE-A' or 3.03 OE-B firmware (for compressed EBOOTs).
With this tool you can make an image of your PSX discs, convert cd-image to NTSC
if you need it and if you have wine correctly installed in your system.

Detect automatically the GameCode from cd-image and you can modify if you don't like.
You can enter TitleGame for Game and Saves, and script save this with GameCode in file
psx2psp.dat in the same directory of cd-image. If you want modify Title or GameCode
remove psx2psp.dat file from this directory and execute psx2psp next time.

You can select personal images for the game, icon and screen's background (recommended)
the program generates an image with title and gamecode data automatically.

Now is included PDF/PS to DOCUMENT.DAT function, you can make a manual for the PSX game
from a pdf file or, too, from a directory contains the images for the manual, the images can
be in any ImageMagick's format and in any resolution or size, the program adjust them.

You can configure the compression of PBP from menu and, for finish, program save the game in
one forder with the gamecode name.

You can invoque the program from commandline psx2psp PSX_IMAGE_FILE or simple execute psx2psp

In the first execution the program ask you for the required files and configurations.
The configuration file is in your $HOME directory with the name < .psx2psprc2 >, if you would
like to change some configuration, delete it, and execute psx2psp normally.

Defeating Chin easily:
The level two Boss, Chin, can be defeated by quickly climbing down the ladders after he appears. Keep climbing downward until the end of level music is played.

Additional moves:
Accumulate 1000 experience points, as noted in the counter the bottom left corner. One additional heart and a new move (in the following order) will be awarded.

Uppercut
Jump kick
Hair pull
Pin attack
Elbow punch
Spin kick

Looping level:
Toward the end of Mission 1 (after you beat up the men with the barrel) you will reach a door and two girls with a jump rope. Keep walking to the right until you reach the wall, where there are two vertical bars. Press Up and you will walk up the wall. If you press A, B, or A + B, you will get hurt and fall off the wall. If you keep going up off the top edge of the screen, you will loop back and come up from the bottom.

More experience:
Begin game play and reach mission 2. Get the baseball bat from the opponent that is on top of the fence. Next, jump off the fence and let the two thugs come after your character. Get the top thug to come to the end of the red pipes at the top of the screen. Once he is at that location, run up the fence and move all the way to the end of it. Then, turn around, jump back off the fence, and go to the end of the pipes. Although no opponents will be in sight, start swinging your bat at the end of the pipes for more experience and faster move learning.

Then, edge over to the right until the two Williams thugs appear. Go back up the fence, and walk over to the left as far as possible. Then, head back across the fence, and the Williams thugs will be gone. However, along the top of the fighting plane, begin kicking, punching, or using your bat until an invisible, stationary Williams is hit. This "ghost" opponent will not move or attack. Simply keep attacking until your character obtains the maximum seven hearts.

If there was one thing the NES needed more than anything back in the 80’s it has to be decent arcade ports. With the poor colour palette compared to the likes of the Master System it makes a nice change to see Acclaim attempt as close a direct port with Tiger-Heli.

A simple plot, a terrorist country named Cantun has set its sights set on taking over the world, and it is up to you as Tiger-Heli’s pilot to defeat them. No in game text or even an ending to speak of, the game loops forever after you complete all its 4 stages. You won’t even come up against any other flying enemies let alone bosses which must be a first for the time.

You would be forgiven for thinking the game seems very much like Xevious and it’s true to some extent that they both share the similar scrolling/shooting gameplay. The main difference here is the Tiger-Heli is fairly powerful and along the way you can destroy crates to discover power-ups from doubling your rate of fire, extra lives, mega bombs and mini Tiger-Heli’s that fly by your side shooting to cover them. The mega bombs are more of a last chance shot clearing a huge area of enemies around the Tiger-Heli but with a lack of any bosses to fight it means you don’t need to plan saving these for large lengths of time.

One of the main concerns when flying over all the terrain is the lack of any flying enemies, besides seeing a few planes takes off at airports everything else is ground based attacks. You are free to destroy any building you come across and although these don’t fire back it’s a fun way to earn some points. The controls are responsive enough that the Tiger-Heli has a fair turn off speed but can often be out run by bullets, a couple of close shaves can be had trying to dodge enemy bullets at times. With B to fire and A to drop the Mega Bomb controls are simple and easy to grasp meaning the player never feels overwhelmed in those fast paced moments.

There is very little slow down even for a PAL game despite the screen becoming packed with enemy tanks at times, it does suffer from the dreaded flicker but the large well-drawn sprites more than make up for this. Considering Tiger-Heli is an early shooter it looks quite good compared to its arcade cousin and replicates each of the 4 arcade stages well.

With the infinite loop after the last stage you might feel the game would be lacking however it avoids this just by being fun and upping the difficulty. The longer you last the harder it becomes so it actually is a fun challenge to earn a high score. Tiger-Heli won’t set any NES’s on fire with its gameplay but with enough fun and challenge for quick bursts it’s well worth picking up, after all games are meant to be played for fun which Tiger-Heli has in spades.

Bug fix: the VSH menu can now be disabled

Instructions: Copy UPDATE folder /PSP/GAME/ and run.

If you come from a version prior to 5.00 M33, put sony update as 500.PBP in same folder, or let the program download it for you using a wifi connection.

Changes:

- Speed selected for umd/iso was not properly locked in some new games that used scePower_EBD177D6 instead of scePowerSetClockFrequency to change speed.
- UMD/ISO speed settings now apply to PSN games too.
- Fixed libupdown.prx connecting to dark-alex.org instead of sony when npsignin_plugin checks for a new version and m33 update is enabled.
- Iso file descriptor was not closed in driver deletion
- Added a shutdown command to vshmenu.
- Translating the recovery.
To translate the recovery create a text file in ms0:/seplugins/xx_recovery.txt

else, you need to put the game in to the following location:

Instructions

- Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
- Get the 3.80 sony update from somewhere, and put it in same folder, with name "390.PBP".
Alternatively, you can let the installer to download for you via wifi.
- Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.

This update fixes a couple of issues.

- Function scePowerGetClockFrequency/scePowerGetClockFrequencyInt was not resolved properly due to a
confussion between the two nids applying to the same function. Fixed, this update is necessary
for plugins and kernel homebrew reporting psp cpu speed.

- PSX EBOOT.PBP that have a icon of 80x80 pixels will not be replaced by Dracula icon in savedata.

Explanation of icon issue:
In 3.80 pops, Sony has introduced a bug that causes a crash when the icon of the pbp is not 80x80,
like those of psstore. To resolve the issue, M33 was replacing the icon in ram by the one with Dracuala image,
what caused the side effect of ps1 save games having Dracula icon.

Now the behaviour in 3.80 M33-2 is to replace the icon in ram only if the one in the file is not 80x80.

Custom Firmware 3.80 M33

Requeriments:

- Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-3 or higher. In the future installation using
panddra battery will be released.

Instructions

- Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
- Get the 3.80 sony update from somewhere, and put it in same folder, with name "380.PBP".
- Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.

Changes:

- HEN core: user mode can load now signchecked files from flash.
- recovery: flash1 format will create flash1 directories after format.
This could fix some flash1 issues with the previous versions.
- Network update from dark-alex.org page. By default is enabled.
You can turn it off in recovery (when off, network update will download sony updates as usual).
- Nids resolver for various kernel libraries.

Comments:

In 3.80 sony has changed (again) kernel nids. The nids resolver will resolve a lot of nids from firmwares 1.50-3.60
(traditional nids) to the ones of 3.80 kernel.
In general, 3.71 nids will NOT be resolved to 3.80 ones. However, to compatibilize 3.80 M33 with prx's programmed for 3.71,
a few very 3.71 nids that were found in some 3.71 plugins will be resolved too.
More info about what is resolved in nidsresolver_status.txt.

Thanks to the combination of the nids resolver and the user libraries possibility in kernel mode added back in 3.71 M33-3,
some programs that stopped working in 3.30 M33 may work again now. One of them is PimpStreamer 0.90.

Finally, popsloader plugin from 3.71 will not work in 3.80 M33 due to its system dependancy. A new one will be rewritten for 3.80 M33.3

"Custom Firmware Extender" is a set of plugins for 3.71 m33
custom's firmware, that will, like the title say, add some extra options to the SONY PSP.

With "cfe 1.8.1" you should be able to :

Stream Isos via usb.
Hook some Vsh menu functions.
Start a ftpd server while under the VSH (PSP Menu).
Make some in-game videos with the help of remotejoy from tyranid.
Reset the PSP with a button while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO).
Power off the PSP with a button while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO).
Change the speed of the PSP CPU/FSB while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO).
Start and stop Usb Mass Storage under the VSH (PSP Menu) while browsing.
Enable Usb Mass Storage at startup.
Take a screenshot while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO) saved in the PICTURE folder.

INSTALLATION

Copy the content of the "release" folder to the root of your memory stick.
Take a look at the file "cfe.config" under "ms0:/seplugins/cfe" to adjust to your needs.
Enable cfe_vsh.prx and cfe_game.prx under the m33 recovery menu.
Set cpu speed to default under the m33 recovery menu.
Push "Note + Volume Down" on the psp to see available commands.

USAGE

To use usbhost iso streaming : after executing usbhostfs_pc on the computer,

type "Note + L" on the psp. Note that you must create a folder ISO where you launch usbhostfs_pc and put your isos inside.

To record an in-game video on psp : On the computer, go to the folder "windows\remotejoy_gui" then launch "start.bat"

On the PSP, load a game or homebrew, then push the capture button combo (default is NOTE/TRIANGLE).
The psp will hang if you do this before a game save is loaded, best is to do this when you really are in game.

Go back to the computer, in the SDL windows push "c" on your keyboard to start capturing.

Each frames will be saved as bmp in the capture folder. Note that you must have a lot of free space on your hdd,
and this one must work at a descent speed or you may loose some frames.

Now you just have to encode the *.bmps using you favorite encoder (VirtualDub will do the job by loading the first bmp).

Vsh menu hook : you can set some "vsh menu icons" to load a specified homebrew, take a look at the cfe.config file for exemples on how to use it.

For other functions, press "Note + Volume Down" on the PSP to show available commands.

How to perform screen capture for PSP?

Description:
ADePSP's screen & video capture module for DevHook and Dark_AleX's 2.71 SE firmware. Capture stills or record video (animated GIFs) of any game or even while browsing the XMB. v0.5 changes:

The Module and SVCPlayer are now compatible with Firmware 2.71 SE-C.
The Module and SVCPlayer are now compatible with Firmware 3.1/3.2/3.52M33-4 emulated by DevHook 0.51 Beta.
The locations the screenshot and video files are saved are now configurable in the capture.ini file. This means it is possible write directly to your PC if you have USB support enabled via other third party modules that are available.
The SVCPlayer now also reads the capture.ini file to locate the videos.

OVERVIEW from developer

This is a module for Devhook that extends the functionality of the existing screenshot
module. Taking and modifying the code for the Video Recorder from the LCS CheatDevice
by Edison Carter I have adapted it into a prx module so it can be used with DevHook.

The module is now also compatible with Custom Firmware 2.71 SE-C by Dark_AleX, 3.52M33-4 by m33 team.

You are no longer limited to taking animated GIF clips in Liberty City Stories. It can
now be done in any game you like. You can even capture out of game clips such as game
menus, loading animations and even the XMB.

You can record video in normal mode (half the screen size) or advanced mode (full or
quarter screen size) and video files will be saved to the PSP/PHOTO/SVCPlayer folder
where as bmp screenshots will be saved to the PSP/PHOTO folder. The locations of the
screenshots and video files is now configurable in the capture.ini file. It is
recommended you use normal mode or advanced mode in QUARTER_SIZE for videos as
advanced mode in FULL_SIZE slows the game down a lot and makes it difficult to play.

The animated GIF files are uncompressed so make sure you have plenty of memory stick
space in order to store them (don't worry, if you run out of space the module will
simply stop working). You can compress the GIF files massivly without
loosing any quality using the GIFAnimator.exe program provided. It is a very
good idea to do this if you intend to post your clips on forums but they wont work
with the SVC Player.

There is a homebrew player for these uncompressed animated gifs now included called
the SVC Player. You can find it in the MemoryStick option on the PSP XMB menus. The
player can playback all the file sizes supported by the Screen\Video Capture Module
but the files MUST be uncompressed. If you edit any of the files or even just save
them with another program then they will no longer be playable with the SVC Player.

PSP customize firmware 3.71m33-2 update

Install instructions:

Copy the program to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE
If you have 1.50 addon, make sure you have the kernel of game folder configured to 3.71, or the program will not even start.

Changes:

There was a bug that caused corruption when writing files of more than 32256 bytes using usb flash.
The bug has been corrected, and now the implementation is as reliable as it was when it was based on 1.50 kernel. (tested with a full restauration of a dump)
Psp Slim: a functionality to let the charge of battery when connecting a usb cable has been added.
This feature is based on Noobz plugin code.
By default is not enabled, you can enable it in recovery.
Note that the charge of battery may be delayed some seconds since the moment you plug the cable.
After installing this update, program at /PSP/GAME/UPDATE will always be executed on 3.71 kernel, despite configuration.
VSHMenu: vshmenu will not be executed when onscreen keyboard is active, to avoid the lost of the select button function in the keyboard.
An option to reset the psp has been added.
VSH plugins are not longer executed anymore in recovery mode, that was the cause of pseudo-bricks.

Note about twi bugs remaining:

The WLAN network error, and the PSP Slim psx game change of brightness.
These two bugs are copyright of Sony :) happens too in OFW.

The WLAN network happens when there is no network available, so not a big problem.

What's new on 3.71?

1. Theme Settings
You can now set a theme under [Theme Settings].
The home menu color, background and icons for XMB™ (XrossMediaBar) will change, based on the theme that is selected.

2. Scene search
You can now search for a scene when playing a movie that is saved on Memory Stick Duo™ media.
You can select and play the scene you want to see from a thumbnail image. This is convenient when you want to quickly play only a specific scene
3. Viewing a slideshow while listening to music
Simultaneous playback of content under (Music) and (Photo) is now supported.
You can view a slideshow of your favorite photographs while listening to music.
Other new features

Network
- [Assign Buttons] has been added to the (Remote Play) menu.
Video
- Sequential playback of videos saved on Memory Stick Duo™ media is now supported.

Changes in 3.71 M33:

Now uses 3.71
VSH Menu is not longer launched using HOME key, but using SELECT now. This is to not interfere with the XMB function of home, which is now more useful in this firmware.
Psp Slim: umdcache was allocating memory even when homebrew was launched, wasting memory that homebrew programs may want to use. Now umdcache module is stopped before it can allocate any memory, only in the case homebrew is launched.
Also, memory is unprotected for user memory usage by M33 core (only when homebrew is launched).Developer, for a sample of how to use the extra memory, see the extra ram sample of the M33 sdk.
Both version boot now from 3.XX ipl, and are independent of 1.50.

The main installer will not install 1.50 kernel anymore.
A 1.50 kernel addon for 3.71 M33 that will install inside 3.71 M33 will be released in a
few days (for fat only)

Note:
due to some changes in kernel nids by Sony, you can expect a lot of kernel plugins not working anymore.
Programmers: refer to the sdk readme for details.

First method for both psp, the preferred when possible:

Requeriments: a fat psp slim with 3.52 M33-3 or 3.52 M33-4. Previous versions of M33 won't work, due to a bug that affects them and OE; or a psp slim with 3.60 M33.

Copy the UPDATE directory into /PSP/GAME/UPDATE and copy the EBOOT.PBP of the 3.71 Sony updater there but with name "371.PBP". Note: the program will not even show if you copy it to a different folder than that.

If you are in the fat psp, make sure you have configured the psp to run the game folder in the 3.XX kernel.

Press X, and the Sony updater will begin. Sit and enjoy while Sony code installs 3.71 M33

When finished, the updater will ask you to reboot (pressing X or O). DO IT. Do not skip this step shutting down the psp by yourself, or you'll end with a brick.

You should be now in 3.71 M!

Changes in M33-4 (mainly bugfix)
* Fixed the bug that caused CRC error when writing to flash usb in the XMB. Now writing is OK.

Notes from Team M33:
* As we didnn't want to release a new update without something new, we worked in making 3.10/3.11 to work with popsloader, and that's it, the new popsloader plugins supports them.
* Instruction for 3.10 and 3.11 are same as 3.30: you need pops.prx, popsman.prx and pafmini.prx with the correct names in popsloader directory. And remember that savedata of 3.10-3.30 are incompatiblewith those of 3.40+. We'll research if a solution for this is possible.
Not a very long list of changes, but very considerate of Team M33 to put out an update so that PSP homebrew enthusiasts would have a better time with their CFW. As usual, please, please, read the relevant readme files included in the zip archive before you do anything. Installing something that tinkers with your PSP's firmware without the required knowledge and information could result in a bricked handheld, and loss of portable gaming joy. It will not be pretty.

PSP 3.50 downgrader

303 HEN Noobz Downgrader Guide
Here is a guide for downgrading any current PSP hardware version (TA-079 - TA-086) from firmware 3.10-3.50 to 1.50.

VERY IMPORTANT:
If you have a TA082+ motherboard and you downgrade to 1.50, currently you will be unable to upgrade to 3.30+ Sony firmware. This is due to Sony blocking updates when the PSP has been
modified to run 1.50. There will be an application released later which will allow users to revert the changes. If you are using a TA082 motherboard then I would suggest just using 1.50 or OE until an application is released.

IMPORTANT:
We are strongly against piracy, and we're not just saying that to cover our butts. When you pirate games, you're removing the incentive for game and console makers to continue making fun things for us to play with. We are releasing this downgrader because we believe that using your PSP to its full potential and being able to customize it and run homebrew code is a fair use right that should be available to everyone. Thanks!

Requirements
In order to downgrade a 3.50 PSP you will need the following:
- Lumines (EU or US version only currently)
- 3.50 Downgrader (this package)
- 1.50 Update (download)
- 3.50 Update if you are on firmware 3.10-3.40

Instructions
Here are the steps to downgrade any 3.50 PSP to 1.50:
1 - If you have a 3.50 PSP skip to step 6
2 - Download 3.50 update from here
3 - Unzip and place the file in :/PSP/GAME/UPDATE
4 - On the PSP, run the 3.50 update from the memory stick under the Game menu.
5 - Delete :/PSP/GAME/UPDATE
6 - Copy the contents of the folder MS_ROOT from the 3.50 downgrader ZIP to the memory stick
7 - Unzip the 1.50 update to a temporary folder. Rename the EBOOT.PBP to UPDATE.PBP and copy it to :/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ . DO NOT OVERWRITE PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP!
8 - Load Lumines and press x to start the game
9 - The screen will clear to black and fill with a light blue colour, then the PSP will reset itself
10 - Check that HEN is running by going to system settings, then to "System Information" and it should show up as system version 350 HEN
11 - If it is showing up as HEN then go to the memory stick and run the x.yz update
12 - If you have an unpatched TA-082 or higher motherboard, you will be prompted to allow the downgrader to patch your motherboard so it can be safely downgraded. The downgrader will not let you proceed without patching, if your motherboard requires it.
13 - Before the downgrader does anything to your PSP it will ask for you to agree to what it is doing, if you no longer want to continue press the Right Shoulder Button (R-TRIGGER).
14 - Once you have agreed to start the downgrade do not unplug the PSP, or try and restart it
15 - Once finished the PSP will ask you to press X, and reset itself
16 - If it comes up saying that the settings are corrupt, press X to continue, this will mean you will need to re-enter the settings for network connections into your PSP, otherwise go to step 18
17 - Load the included NetConfigBackup application in your PSP, and select to restore, this will take the backup that was done of the network config that was done automatically during the downgrade.
18 - All done now :-) Hopefully you now have a 1.50 PSP. Enjoy it responsibly.

Troubleshooting
- If when trying to restore the network config using netconf backup you
find that it gives you an error on the downgraded 1.50 PSP, try adding
a temporary network config, then deleting it and run the netconf backup
again.

IMPORTANT: agree with LICENSE.TXT conditions before installing the program.

Changes:
- Added more speeds: 75 and 133.
- Added flash2 and flash3 usb to recovery
- Added a setting in recovery to change the usb device to which XMB will connect.
- Added "vshmenu", which is a menu that will appear when HOME is pressed in the XMB. It will interfere with existing XMB plugins that use HOME, so it can be disabled in recovery.
- Added umd video iso support. The umd video isos are playes using vshmenu. Video isos go in /ISO/VIDEO folder. They require an UMD inserted because NO-UMD does not work.

Changes in popsloader:
- Support for 3.30 firmware. Instructions are same as in previous release, except 3.30
firmware did not have libpspvmc.prx, so just ignore that file.
- Warning: There is an incompatibility between 3.30 savedata and later ones. If a savedata exists from 3.40+, the emulator will freeze.
Some notes about the usage of vshmenu, and umd video isos:
- vshmenu cannot be loaded when the browser is active. If you exit the browser, the firmware will
still keep it in memory until you enter other area of xmb, until you do so, you will not be able
to access vshmenu again either.
- video isos and the game isos show in xmb use the same core. Due to this, when you enter in game
menu and there is some iso, if a video iso was currently mounted, it will automatically be unmounted.
- cso format is not supported for video isos.
- UMD audio isos are theoretically supported, but not tested. They go to /ISO/VIDEO.

Changes:
- Document.dat of psx games were broken due to some important changes in popsman.prx and now is fixed.
Plus, now document.dat does not need the same gameid as game which is played.
- The compatibility issue with irshell loading psx games in usbhost/nethost has been solved.
- Changes in recovery:
1. Removed the advanced config option "use isofs on UMD inserted", as it is not useful now.
2. Added "Format flash1 and restore settings" in Advanced.
3. Added speeds 20 and 100.
4. When in usb mode inside recovery, it is impossible to turn PSP off.
- The chineses and korean languages did not work in XMB, because they crashed homebrew and recovery. The issue has been fixed, but korean font is not there, so you need to take it with psardumper from official updater, and put it in flash0:/font/kr0.pgf.
- M33 driver: fixed SBK07, now it work.

5 easy step to make customize firmware

Download this zip file, unzip it, connect your PSP to your PC, copy both directory to psp\GAME150\
Get firmware version 1.50, rename it to 150.pbp, get firmware version 3.52, rename it to 350.pbp. Copy both file to psp\GAME150\M33CREATOR
Disconnect your PSP from mini USB, and run the firmware generator from your PSP under "Memory Stick" menu. Finally, a customize firmware file will created named as "eboot.pbp" with size of 17.2MB.
Connect your PSP again to your PC, cut and paste the customize firmware file to this location: psp\GAME150\M33UPDATE_352
Finally, ensure your PSP remain battery level 75% and above, disconnect your PSP from PC. Run the "3.52 M33update" from the PSP under "Memorysitck" to start the firmware installation.

Follow the instruction from the screen of your PSP, few mins later, the installation will complete!

How to check the customized firmware has installed?
Under "Setting" tab, scroll down to "System Settings", under "System Information", the "System Software" will show "3.52 M33" if you have installed correctly.

I am only 16 and am quite inexperienced with VB (no qaulifications fully self taught etc)
This program is written in VB.
This small tool will allow you to convert your standard iso images into .dax files or .cso files. It supports all compresion levels and NC areas of .dax files. You will need daxcr.exe, zlib1.dll, ciso.exe and COMDLG32.OCX (not version 1.2) in the same folder (all included) as the psp iso compresser.exe file. This project is written in vb6 (vb .NET from version 1.2 onwards) If you are running windows 98 you may need to download vb6 runtime in order for the program versions below 1.2 to work. On all versions of Windows you will need to upgrade to .NET Framework for versions above 1.2. I am sorry that this is neccessary but it was the only way for me to implement the newer features.

Why Sony PSP are not able to play game from memory stick with latest firmware? How to do so? This is a long story... Maybe let me trying to summarize it so that every newbie can understand easily and pickup to enjoy the beauty of PSP...
Since Sony release the PSP, there is a lot of firmware version, what is firmware?
hmm... this is something like "operating system (software)" that "control the behavior of the device". Firmware may found on dvd-writer, printer, mobilephone, etc. They are usually stored flash memory.
From version 1 to version 3.6(current latest), whats difference? why upgrade?

bugs fix
modified device herbivorous
add in new software
etc

Why some of older firmware able to play games/run software over memory stick? Why latest PSP that we bought are not able to do so?
Piracy! A lot of people copy games without license. Caused developer losing a lot, their hardwork almost gone. Base on the last year marketing record, console unit are selling more then UMD games!!!
Version 1.0-1.5 are able to direct access the memory stick, run games and application.
Version 1.51 and above are locked this features, the memory stick usually for mp4 movie, photo, mp3 song, psp setting and save games.

What are the world doing now?
Sony keep on releasing latest firmware to attract user to upgrade. However, the original firmware will not able to run games/software over memory stick. The new firmware is locked this feature.
"Hackers"??(would like to call them PSP programmer/engineer) They are keep finding the way to let PSP become powerful and useful.

What programmers are doing?

The information come in to the programmer mind will be:
Version 1.5 able to run game/software over memory stick
New firmware are able to play latest games and some additional feature added...
Whats next???
Combine both version 1.5 firmware and latest firmware together
Take the "version 1.5 firmware browser" replace the "New firmware browser"
Both firmware combined will called "Customized firmware" not "modified firmware" as both firmware is from Sony.
With this customized firmware, the PSP will capable to run games/software from memory stick.
